CURIOUS ON LIFE, the blog

September whispers change.
The air feels softer, the light shifts, and we are reminded that time itself is a ritual—always turning, always guiding us into the next season of our becoming.
Rituals are not about grand ceremonies or rigid rules. They are about presence. They are about choosing, moment by moment, to honor your life, your gifts, and your agency.
Lighting a candle before journaling.
Walking slowly under the morning sun as the breeze hits your face..
Holding a cup of tea in both hands and letting gratitude rise with the steam. These small acts of devotion remind us: I am alive, I am here, I matter.
When we honor our lives through ritual, we affirm our sacredness.
When we honor our gifts, we acknowledge that what flows through us is not random—it is purposeful.
And when we honor our agency, we reclaim the truth that we are not bystanders to our own lives; we are creators, curators, and architects of what unfolds.
When I light a candle, cook a family recipe, or whisper a prayer in Spanish, I feel my abuelitas beside me.
I feel generations of women who carried strength, love, and faith through their daily rituals. These acts are not small—they are sacred threads tying me to my roots, affirming my identity, and teaching me that I am never alone.
Maybe this September, you'll pause long enough to create your own ritual.
Something simple. Something yours.
A practice that reconnects you to your center, that reminds you of your power, and that celebrates your journey.
Because life itself is a ritual. And you, beloved, are worthy of honoring.
With curiosity and love,
Rebecca

Beautifully written and a reminder to do the small things that add that spark of magic! Light the candle before journaling or make that family recipe and of course remembering our ancestors 🥰
